Precision Fishing Line Release

The SplashDrone 3+ is engineered to deliver your long line up to 1.6 kilometer away and drops your baits or lures exactly where you need them.

Unlike some DIY drone fishing rigs or third-party bait droppers, the waterproof release modules on the SplashDrone 3+ precisely deploy your line with a simple flick of a switch on the remote controller.

The SplashDrone 3+ is purpose-built to drop baits over water, without compromising flight performance or imaging quality. Other drones just aren’t built to operate on or over water. Sea spray and moisture corrodes their circuits and ruin their cameras, but the SplashDrone 3+ is built with enhanced protection and waterproofing.

One Drop for Multiple Baits

With its superior 1kg payload capacity, SplashDrone 3+ allows you the flexibility to carry more than 10 baited hooks or lures on each cast or long-cast a heavy live bait.
The high propulsion system and efficient design will maintain stability when the drone is burdened with baits and long line. The new high-voltage battery extends flight time,  allowing 3-6 bait casts from a single battery charge (distance dependent).

The onboard high-quality camera helps you easily find fish and decide where the bait needs to be. The waterproof cameras of the Payload Release Modules have a wide field of view and low-light sensitivity. The bright LCD screen built-in to the remote controller provides a live video feed from the camera of the SplashDrone 3+. Fly above the strike zone to view the movement of schools of fish or land on the water to take a closer look underwater at fish and terrain.

Water, Wind … Whatever

Every part of SplashDrone 3+ is 100% waterproof and seawater ready. Not only is the airframe water-sealed and pressure tested, the internal electronics are also coated for further corrosion-resistance. The robust 450mm ABS shell and full carbon fiber propellers provide the durability to fly in these harsh environments. The new propulsion combo and flight controller provide tremendous horsepower and control even in winds up to 18 mph (30km/h) (Beaufort Force 4) with gusts to Force 6.

Quick Set Up

The release mechanism, propellers and landing gears all connect to the drone quickly and easily to minimize setup. Attaching your fishing line just takes a second.

Auto Hover

Dual GPS and other sensors enable SplashDrone 3+ to automatically hover at its current position and altitude.

Drop & Return – Automatically

Once you’ve dropped your baits, just flick the Return-Home switch and the SplashDrone 3+ will automatically return and land gently at the take-off point – while you concentrate on fishing.

Controller

All in One Remote Controller

The SplashDrone 3+ comes with a custom designed, fully integrated remote controller. Redesigned controls maximize ease-of-use and efficiency, while a fully integrated, high-brightness 5″ FPV screen clearly displays live video and overlaid (OSD) flight data without the need for any additional equipment. Flight control, payload release and camera controls are all at your fingertips.

Cruise Mode

Switch the remote controller into the Cruise mode and you will be able to pan (yaw) and fly the SplashDrone 3+ simultaneously with a single joystick.

Smooth+ Control

Go from joystick to fine knob control of drone rotation, direction or orbit – great for smooth videos and accurate flight.

 

 

Bait Releases

All SwellPro Payload Release modules are fast to attach, waterproof and are precision made from CNC aluminum and stainless steel. Below are the main fishing payload releases for our waterproof drone. You can also purchase the TrollSafe as an extra for trolling baits and lures.

PL4

For low-light and night-time payload release, the PL4 utilizes a high-sensitivity sensor and dual LED spotlights to return colour HD images in near darkness. Get live as well as recorded video footage from the drone and accurately locate your target zone at night before remotely dropping your baits.

PL3

The integrated, waterproof, tilt-gimballed 4K camera provides live as well as recorded video footage and allows the camera angle to be adjusted during flight. With the PL3, you can accurately locate your target drop zone and record the whole casting process in high definition.

PL2

PL2 is a remote payload release with an integrated, fixed-angle HD FPV camera. Set the angle of the camera before flight to suit your needs. This camera is only for live vision and cannot record video.

	PL2 LONG RANGE RELEASE MECHANISM PL2 release mechanism is capable of carrying items including long fishing lines and casting baits to any target location, in the surf or in unreachable waters. (The max flight range of Splash Drone 3+ is up to 1.6 km+.) HIGH PAYLOAD CAPACITY PL2 is manufactured from high precision CNC aluminium and stainless steel. The max payload capacity is 1kg. It is capable of carrying more than 10 hooks and baits in one delivery. It can also be used to carry a life preserver or life jacket for surf rescue. 	PL3 The PL3 is a new, innovative and powerful add-on which increases the versatility of the SplashDrone 3+. Technically, the PL3 is a combination of the waterproof full HD camera and the original payload release mechanism. Now with the PL3, and compared to the previous model (PL2) , you now have the added benefit of a gimbal mounted camera, as well as being able to record your payload release or rescue operation to a MicroSD card, which was not possible before. The camera is stabilized by 4 rubber damping balls, ensuring the recording of steady footage while carrying and dropping a payload. Tough & Waterproof

The SplashDrone 3+ fuselage is made from durable 3mm reinforced ABS to ensure a perfect waterproof seal.

Each drone undergoes at least two pressure tests during production for 100% waterproofness. All parts, both inside and out, are corrosion resistant and designed for use in marine environments.

New access hatch lid with air pressure equalization allows altimeter accuracy without permitting water entry.

Powerful Propulsion System

The new S3 flight controller, integrated with new sensors and a powerful propulsion system, allows for greater sensitivity and accuracy than ever. This means you can fly SplashDrone 3+ safely and smoothly with more confidence on water, in rain and snow.

The S3 constantly checks for errors and offers redundancy to improve flight stability. The dual-mode GPS locks onto up to 24 satellites from the GPS and GLONASS systems for improved accuracy and speed of positioning.

Quick Fit Propellers

Redesigned carbon-fibre propellers are light and stiff to efficiently transform the motors’ power into thrust. A new quick-fit design enables fast and secure attachment of the propellers to the motors.

High Thrust Motors

The powerful new motors provide strong performance, speed and lifting capacity. A special coating system ensures maximum resistance to salt water corrosion and power delivery for take-off from water and in heavy rain.

Fly Safely

SplashDrone 3+ includes multiple layers of protection to keep your aircraft safe and help ensure your drone comes home safely.

Return Home

If the signal is lost, the SplashDrone 3+ returns to the starting point and lands gently. You can also tap Return-Home on the app or flick the Return-Home switch on the remote controller to retrieve the drone.

Low Battery Alerts

During flight, if the battery voltage reaches a two predetermined warning levels, the remote controller will display a clear flashing notice for the pilot.

Low Battery Auto-landing

When the battery is almost completely drained, SplashDrone 3+ will execute an in-position auto landing to prevent a crash.

Lost Drone Location Beacon

If you inadvertently lose or crash your drone out of sight, you will instantly have the drone’s location pinpointed on the APP’s map, even with low batteries. (GroundStation module is required. Can be purchased separately for APP use).

Self Right When Floating

If the aircraft is inverted when on the water, the SplashDrone 3+ can flip itself right-side-up on command – ready to take off again.

Fly Autonomously

 

Add the GroundStation option and your mobile phone or GPS-enabled tablet can take control of the SplashDrone 3+ with your fingertip! Please note Groundstation is not included it must be added at checkout or seperately. The Swellpro FLY APP enables several smart flight modes, which drastically reduces manual input from the pilot, making flying the SplashDrone 3+ even easier.

The SplashDrone 3+ will constantly follow and turn towards you as you move at a max speed of 20km/hour, recording awesome selfies.
