Drone Sales Returns Policy

When making a purchase from Drone Sales UK, you have a 30-day window during which you may return an item to us for a complete refund, provided that the item remains in its original sealed packaging and has not been utilized, activated, or charged.

The cancellation period expires 30 days from the date you physically acquire the goods.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please note that we are not accountable for the courier service you select. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service to prevent potential loss during transit. In the event of loss, we cannot assume responsibility.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I request a full refund for my item?

Absolutely, you can request a full refund as long as your item is unopened, in its original sealed condition, not activated, and not charged.

To qualify for a full refund, the item must not have been used in any way. If your drone has been activated and flown, it is considered a used product, and we cannot offer a full refund.

In the case of a faulty product where you are not at fault, we can issue a refund or provide a replacement.

We are an authorized DJI Retailer and offer a 24-month warranty on all products. If you wish, we can facilitate the return process on your behalf, replace your faulty item with a new one, or issue a refund.

Can I return digital codes for a refund?

Unfortunately, Drone Sales UK cannot provide refunds for digital codes. This policy is in place to protect both you and us. Regrettably, some customers have purchased digital codes from us, activated them, and then requested refunds, necessitating the establishment of this policy.

My drone is faulty; how can I obtain a replacement?

If your drone has a defect that is not your fault and is covered by warranty, we will arrange for a collection at our expense.

Please ensure your item is securely packaged in a box that can withstand normal transit forces.

To make a warranty claim on your behalf and provide a refund or replacement, we require the original packaging and all original contents. If any contents are missing after collection, you will need to ship them to us at your expense. Please ensure that all contents are included in the box to avoid delays in processing your return.

How long does the returns process take?

Please allow up to five working days for the inspection and testing of your device. After inspection, we will proceed with a repair, refund, or replacement. Manufacturer-related repairs may take up to 30 working days.

How long does it take for a refund to be credited to my account?

Please allow up to five working days for the funds to settle in your account.

What if I've used my item; can it still be returned?

Under The Consumer Contracts Regulations, we can accept items as returns if they have been opened or inspected as you would in a retail setting.

However, to qualify for a full refund, the item must not have been used, or the packaging damaged, in any way.

To be considered 'as new,' the goods must include all original accessories, undamaged packaging, and any additional extras originally included with your purchase.

Activities that constitute 'used' include, but are not limited to, charging, activation, flight, updates, or installation. The final determination of whether a product is considered 'used' is at the discretion of Drone Sales UK.

Once a product is removed from its original packaging, activated, or charged, it is considered used. A restocking fee of up to 40% of the original purchase price may apply to returning products that have been activated, charged, or opened.

This clause does not cover items that are both used and damaged.

If your product is faulty and covered by warranty, we will arrange a collection. Upon receipt, we will inspect and replace or refund as necessary.

If your product is not faulty and is an unwanted item, you will need to send it back to our premises at your expense. Please refer to the address below for mailing your items to us:

Please be aware that we are not responsible for lost items during transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service to ensure safe delivery. In case of loss, you will be covered for the item's value.
