DJI Dock 3 With Matrice 4D

The DJI Dock 3 is the latest “Drone-in-a-Box” solution, enabling 24/7 fully automated, remote drone operations. It is designed for enterprise users in public safety, emergency response, surveying, and infrastructure inspection who require persistent, on-demand aerial data collection with minimal human intervention. It exclusively supports the DJI Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD series drones.

The Dock 3 system utilizes the O4+ Enterprise video transmission system. When paired with the optional D-RTK 3 Relay, the maximum transmission range can be extended up to 25 km, ensuring robust connectivity for large-area coverage or remote sites.

The Matrice 4D features a powerful tri-camera system:

• Wide-Angle Camera: 4/3 CMOS, 20MP (24mm equivalent) with Mechanical Shutter.
• Medium Tele Camera: 1/1.3-inch CMOS, 48MP (70mm equivalent).
• Tele Camera: 1/1.5-inch CMOS, 48MP (168mm equivalent).

It also includes a Laser Range Finder with a range up to 1800m.

The system provides survey-grade positioning. The Dock’s built-in RTK base station achieves horizontal accuracy of 1 cm + 1 ppm (RMS). The drone provides hovering accuracy down to ±0.1 m (with RTK positioning). The Dock is certified for a maximum operating altitude of 4500 m.

The DJI Dock 3 is exclusively compatible with the purpose-built DJI Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD series drones. These fixed-arm drones are optimized for rapid deployment and high durability within the automated docking station.

The system supports fully automated mission workflows managed via FlightHub 2, including Smart 3D Capture routes, geometric route planning, and real-time terrain following. This allows for high-frequency, repeatable data collection with minimal manual input.

The Dock 3 fully integrates with FlightHub 2 for fleet management, mission planning, and real-time data streaming. Key intelligent features include Change Detection and automated object (people/vehicle) recognition and tracking.

The Dock 3 has a robust IP56 rating and operates in temperatures from -30°C to +50°C thanks to its built-in climate control. The Matrice 4D charges from 15% to 95% in approximately 27 minutes, ensuring rapid operational turnaround.
